VeilCast does not collect, store, sell or transmit any personal data. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Page content is scanned on your device only to decide what to blur. It is never saved or sent anywhere.
Camera, microphone and screen: VeilCast never accesses your media. It only notices that a website started a capture, so it can turn protection on.
Stored locally (chrome.storage): your settings and a count of how many secrets were hidden.
No servers, no analytics, no third parties.
